First thing that need to assesses is physical condition in regional scale. We have to know the geological condition, soil material spatial distribution, land use land cover existing, slope and elevation. Next variable are  social-economic activity in regional scale, and the last is physiological culture.

All variable is needed for make analysis in regional scale for mitigation. The new one variable that we need is EARTH’S INTERIOR STRUCTURE & DYNAMICS IN REGIONAL SCALE. The variables those are above, are the old one. We need new frame work to make a better assessment analysis for a better result.

In the last five years, Indonesia has been experiencing many earthquake, and the most catastrophic one is on  December 2004, the biggest natural disaster for this century, tsunami in Nangroe Aceh Darussalam as a second impact from earthquake activity in the bottom of sea floor.

From the lecture was gave by Prof. Dapeng Zhao on October 28, 2009, I do really interest and want to make research for updating regional vulnerability map of earthquake in Indonesia region. This map will produce with new variable and new approach. The new variable is  EARTH’S INTERIOR STRUCTURE  IN INDONESIA, the new approach is MARCOV CELLULAR AUTOMATA WITH FUZZY SET MEMBERSHIPS for make prediction of spatial forecast of earthquake event.

In Cellular Automata (CA) the system under study is divided into a set of cells with each cell interacting with all other cells belonging to predefined neighborhoods through a set of simple rules. In Fuzzy Logic, variables consist of partially overlapping qualitative fuzzy sets. Each fuzzy set is described by a linguistic variable familiar to its quality while quantitative (numerical) information is appointed to the proper fuzzy sets by the correspondent membership function. The knowledge base is represented as linguistic “IF…THEN” rules, connecting hypotheses to conclusions through a certainty factor. The most frequently used inference engines are divided into the stages of aggregation, implication and accumulation. Aggregation returns the fulfillment of the hypothesis for every rule individually. Implication combines aggregation’s result to the rule’s certainty factor (CF) resulting to the degree of fulfillment for each rule’s conclusion. Finally accumulation corresponds to compromising different individual conclusions into a final result. Fuzzy logic combined to CA provides a proper framework for expressing and mapping the urban growth dynamics.

In Markov an important component of Markov chains is the transition probability matrix P = [pij], traditionally obtained by two time series thematic maps. Thus, defining the second component in the framework of the proposed approach is based upon the transition probability matrix elements. At that the transition probability of a state ωi to a state ωj in an analyzed neighborhood depends not only on the probability pij but on the number of elements with the state ωj in the neighborhood. For each state in the analyzed neighborhood, coinciding with the elements of a current cellular automata, probability pij prob = nj⋅pij, is defined, j = 1,2,…, m, m – the number of states in the analyzed neighborhood, nj - the number of elements with state ωj in the neighborhood.

The map that will be produced is should be accesseble with free for everyone. It can be access by internet or regional and local government should reproduced it in hardcopy and give it to the peoples. Every year, the map should be updated by researcher and government should give support to the volunteers to give people understanding of the regional vulnerability map of earthquake.

With this research, I hope we could give a better information for human being to prevent many negative impacts from earthquake event. This framework also could be apply in many region that have vulnerability of earthquake.

another research in our University is Crystalization in micro-gravity condition. We must use airplane for this research. this research could proved that crystalization was happen in micro-gravity condition and in very rapidly time. How about the very earliest life on the earths? Is it came from the crystalization outer the earth?

at present, geologist must re-thinking they field research, not only in bottom of the earth or beneath the crust, but also outer space.

in the half of century ago, children was an asset at family, as an extra pair hands at farm, paddy fields, and others. But now it has been change, a lot of young people doesn’t want stay at households matter, many of them do some migration to city from countryside, and they will less pressure and control from the older generation to have children and will lost every local wisdom gradually, changed with city life.

In the future we will lost generation, the country will not have enough people to build economic activity, to support labor force in industry, education and to take care older people.

Only the country with huge population will survive in the future, of course with the thickly implementation of green environment policies. Young people with good education would be scientist in the future and keep preserve the good environment. The Earth will survive due to spread of population will be diffusor, in case of Korea at present, many baby was born by mixed marriage between Koreans and South East Asia people such as Philipines, Thailand, and Vietnam. US citizen now consider to work far away from home because to hard to find jobs in their country. Also with India, many people from India now work to whole over the world. Dubai, is an example of new urban city in this century with many peoples comes here for many purposes.

Don’t worry with over population, because every person want to get a better life and future, so they will travel to whole over the world for this reason. in the future we must realize that our country boundary will dissappear or even we will have a new nations.

I think, the answer of this debate is ENERGY. Earth doesn’t have enough energy to growing. Our main and the only one energy source is sun. In the first stage of the origin of earth, we got the energy from materials come from outside the earth. and now we could know that the mantle of the earth is not move. The only one key word is WATER.  Heat in the mantle can’t moving the plate without water, in the future we will lost much of water, and the earth will dying.

Today, Global warming and Climate Change become the biggest issue, what we must consider is, in this earth stage recent condition, the biggest problem in the future is the presence of water, food supply, and disease that will infected human being in the future. There are many researcher is still ongoing activity to those are problems in the future.

Can you imagine how many paddy field will disappears due to sea level rise, how many people will starving due to monsoon phenomena.. Scientist and Politicians have a big responsibility for these problems
